Casey Burgener
USA Weightlifting
Burgener narrowly missed qualifying for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team, but after marrying teammate Natalie (Woolfolk) Burgener and taking the 2009 season off, Burgener returned to Colorado Springs as a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and has reset his sights on qualifying for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Sarah Robles
USA Weightlifting
A thrower on the track and field team at San Jacinto High School, Robles' throwing coach, Rich McClure, taught Robles to use Olympic lifts in her strength and conditioning program. Robles began competing in local meets in 2004 and fell in love with the sport. A silver medalist at the 2008 Junior Worlds, Robles placed 11th at her first Senior Worlds in 2009 and is one of the top U.S. hopefuls on the international stage.
