Weight Sets Lottery RESULTS

The following USA Weightlifting clubs have entered the lottery for the used weight sets. Ten weight sets are available at a cost of $500 per set (shipping of the weights and any related costs will be the sole responsibility of the respective buyers). 

1) All clubs who have entered will have their names drawn during the Rodger DeGarmo Memorial in Colorado Springs, CO on Sept 5-7, 2008. The weights will be offered for sale to the first 10 clubs. The remaining clubs will be listed as alternates in the order in which they are drawn. 

2) If a club's name is drawn, they have 30 days to pay USA Weightlifting for their set, and arrange for shipping. If that club chooses not to purchase a set, the first club on the alternate list will be offered a chance to buy the set instead. If the alternate club chooses not to purchase the set, the next club on the alternate list will be offered a chance, and so on.

3) Each club must have a current USA Weightlifting membership through at least September 7, 2008 to be entered in the lottery. If your club has asked to be entered in the drawing, but does not appear on the list below, please check your club's expiration date and renew if necessary.

4) If your club would like to be included in the lottery, please contact USA Weightlifting IN WRITING (via fax or email) no later than 5 pm Mountain Time on Thursday, September 4, 2008. Please email usaw@usaweightlifting.org or fax 719-866-4741. Again, please ensure your club's eligibility by checking its expiration date and renewing, if necessary.

7 sets of York bumpers
1 set UESAKA bumpers
2 sets mixed York and UESAKA bumpers

Your choice of bars. We have 3 men's and 3 women's York bars and 2 men's and 2 women's UESAKA bars.

Men's sets will be 182 kilos and women's sets will be 177 kilos. 5 kilo plates and below may be mixed brands.
