2009 National Championship Entry- The 2009 National Championship entry is now available on the USA Weightlifting website. Online registration will be available early next week. The entry deadline is May 12, 2009. No late entries will be accepted. 2009 American Open Qualifying Totals- The American Open qualifying totals for this year's event in Mobile, Alabama have been approved by the Board of Directors. Please see below:

2009 World Youth Championship Team Staff- USA Weightlifting would like to congratulate Mrs. Joanne Musa, Mr. Steve Miller and Mr. Butch Curry for being selected as the team staff for the 2009 World Youth Championships in Chiang Mai, Thailand in May. Joanne Musa will be the men's head coach, Steve Miller will be the women's head coach and Butch Curry will be the team leader/assistant coach for the event. Good luck in Chiang Mai next month!
2009 Junior Worlds - Call for Nominees- USA Weightlifting received the 2009 Junior World Championships Call for Nominees today and must submit our nominees by April 24, 2009. USA Weightlifting can nominate two IWF Category I Referees and one doctor. All interested and qualified persons are encouraged to notify Kara Yessie at the National Office (kara.yessie@usaweightlifting.org) of their interest along with their International experience (event, year, function) by April 17, 2009. Please note that Referees must have a valid 2009-2012 license, an IWF Referee uniform and pay for their own transportation to and from the competition.

We are accepting bids for these 2010 National Events: National Junior Championships, National Collegiate Championships, National Championships, National School Age Championships, American Open Championships.
