USA Weightlifting Welcomes 2010 U.S. Olympic Training Center Resident Athletes

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - USA Weightlifting is pleased to announce that six athletes have been named as 2010 Resident Athletes at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
All six athletes are veterans of the Junior and Senior World Teams, and two of them were members of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team - Natalie Burgener (Arnold, Md.) and three-time Olympian Cheryl Haworth (Savannah, Ga.)
As Resident Athletes, the three men and three women will live and train full-time at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs where they will have access to OTC Sports Medicine and Science programs.
The athletes are being coached by Interim Head Coach Bob Morris (Colorado Springs, Colo.)
The 2010 Resident Athletes are as follows:
- Cheryl Haworth (Savannah, Ga.), three-time Olympian and 2000 Olympic medalist
- Natalie Burgener (Arnold, Md.), 2008 Olympian and seventh-place finisher at the 2005 Senior World Championships
- Casey Burgener (Bonsall, Calif.), three-time World Team member and two-time Pan Am Champion
- Pat Judge (Sarasota, Fla.), ninth-place finisher at the 2009 Senior World Championships and 2009 Pan Am bronze medalist
- Sarah Robles (San Jacinto, Calif.), 2009 Senior World Team member and 2008 Junior World silver medalist
- Donovan Ford (Sacramento, Calif.), sixth-place finisher at the 2009 Junior World Championships
