Madison Robelen and Courtney Kulick Join USA Weightlifting Staff

Courtney Kulick (left) and Madison Robelen are the newest additions to the USA Weightlifting staff.

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - USA Weightlifting is pleased to announce that the organization has hired two new staff members in areas of sponsorship, event and sports management. 

Madison Robelen (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Courtney Kulick (Philadelphia, Pa.) began their new roles as the Event and Sponsorship Services Manager and Sports Management Intern, respectively, at the USA Weightlifting office on Monday.  

A native of Boca Raton, Fla., Robelen, who is fluent in Spanish, graduated from Emory University in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Organizational Management.  While at Emory, Robelen played volleyball for all four years, winning the DIII National Championships in 2008. 

As a former USA Weightlifting intern during the summer of 2008, Robelen brings past weightlifting experience to her new position.  In addition, Robelen has completed internships in the areas of marketing and event services with the Atlanta Sports Council and Career Sports & Entertainment.

Kulick is returning for her second position within the U.S. Olympic Committee intern program as a former intern with USA Badminton.  

Kulick graduated from Temple University with a Master's degree in Sports and Recreation Administration in December where she was a Marketing Graduate Extern in the Campus Recreation Department.  

Fluent in French, Kulick received her Bachelor's degree in Sports Journalism in 2007 from Pennsylvania State University.
